I included this case study as I think it represents something that I don’t get asked to do very often, refresh a site hosted on an e-commerce platform.
Predicament: I was contacted by Kevin at Kinky Kontrol who wanted to use the current quarantine time to get his website refreshed. He does screen printing and makes merchandise for touring bands and small businesses. He was looking for something that was “less of a mess” and maybe even “easier to use”. After a quick look, I was happy to help.

Predicament: This law office was stuck in a high overhead monthly contract with a large agency that wasn’t delivering results. She wanted to retain the keyword-rich domain name and build a new website that better suited her needs and conveyed the lifestyle of her clientele.
Resolution: Build a new mobile-friendly/responsive website in WordPress following my On-page Seo Checklist. I used 301 redirects on all old the website URLs so no old traffic/links would be lost. Then I submitted new sitemaps to all the major search engines (Google, Bing, Duck Duck Go).

Predicament: Jim Parker had an outdated website that was not getting much traffic and was consistently on the 2nd and 3rd pages of Google for his industry keywords. When users did find his website, they were leaving right away (bounce rate was around 89%).
