Specializing in SEO, eCommerce installations, website design, classic print design, and general internet solutions. I am always striving to break boundaries and create new design ideas.
I started out designing flyers for backyard parties at Kinko’s. Known for using my own hand-drawn lettering, art from friends, and also traditional clip art; I was always in demand. Around 1998 I got heavily into software programs like Adobe’s Photoshop and Premiere. By 2000 I was asked to be the Chief of Media for early broadband entertainment startup Nowsites.com. The focus at Nowsites was finding and promoting new music acts. At Nowsites we threw several very large events in various SoCal venues including The Galaxy Concert Theatre in Costa Mesa (now called The Observatory in Santa Ana, figure that one out.). After leaving Nowsites, I went on to work with Blown Celeb, a music production and promotion company that focused on promoting live performances as well as launching clothing brands. I worked closely on the design of websites, micro-sites, landing pages, logos, and more flyers for a variety of bands including: The Pharcyde, Eek A Mouse, Ugly Duckling, Shaggy, Styles of Beyond, FatHed, Pepper, Chapter 11, Am One, and many others.
Starting in 2012 I ran the Los Angeles sales office and global website properties for a small shellfish company based in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. I created, designed, implemented, and managed the Oysters to Your Door program in Los Angeles offering fresh Canadian oysters delivered twice weekly.
Since 2018 I have worked freelance on projects for a multitude of clients. Everyone from commercial painters and clothing companies to attorneys and print houses.
With eighteen plus years in website design, and a lifetime in music I offer a collaborative aesthetic and a supportive environment. Ensuring your ideas are realized is my goal.Contact Michael
